Love, love, loved this book. I haven't read any books about Siren's, so I found this fascinating. The Lore, the beautiful Siren colours, the shimmery spellwings, the Tides, I fell in love with this world. The World building was phenomenal. I could practically feel and smell the sea. I felt completely immersed.
The blood bound bond was comforting and, at times, painful. The blood family disconnect was heartbreaking.
The found family, was absolutely everything, until it started to seem to unravel.
I was there for it all. The love, the war, the heartbreak. A stunning coming of age Epic Fantasy.
I cannot wait to see where Isla Melysin takes Serena, Graye, Rhune, Kade and me in book 2.
