These Dark Tides by B. L. Planko Review by Shell The Mad Booker

Fantasy is my favourite genre and These Dark Tides by B. L. Planko ticks all the boxes for me.

We have a warrior FMC, Arina, who has had a rough life and is tortured by her Uncle. But that torture makes her a deadly soldier for the kingdom.

We have found family with banter, friendship and loyalty (my favourite trope!)

We have fae, Castles, Monsters and magic. All the delicious things that make the world easy to fall in to.

Then there's Ronan, my new book boyfriend. The things he says to Arina throughout the book makes me swoon, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Bonus points for being super attractive.

Add to that a mystery about Arinas past and magic and I am all in!

I can not wait for the rest of the books in the series.
