Chosen By Darkness by Rachel Hatley Review by Shell The Mad Booker.

Wow! What a ride. I was hooked at page 1. Hatley's writing kept me turning the pages. I needed to know what was happening next.

This thriller had my heart racing, jumping at noises and made me check that my doors were locked.

I loved the found family aspect, not just for the MCs but the side characters as well.

Shout out to Paige and Otis for their never ending protection and loyalty. I cried for Otis.... twice.

I may also have teared up in the last chapter.

I loved the romance element between the MC's. The MMC taking on a protective father vibe for the FMC's daughter? Ummm yes please. Im here for that.

All in all, I couldn't put it down.

I'm looking forward to reading more from Hatley.
